Educational Software #2

Alleducationalsoftware.com is a website that has a lot of programs to offer. There are a vast number of subjects offered and for different ages. The Reading and Writing Software caught my attention as it allows kids to learn phonics, reading, spelling, writing and language arts. It also helps develop early reading skills, letter recognition, letter sounds, reading comprehension, vocabulary and English grammar and composition. Arthur's Reading Race stood out the most to me because of the use of things we encounter in everyday life and it is also in the form of a story. It is available for children between the ages of 3 to 7. It's about Arthur and his sister D.W. going to the park and zoo to see who can read the most words to gain rewards. It also includes three educational games that help develop word recognition and other basic reading skills. Kids would really enjoy the story and can read along with it. The words are highlighted as the story is read and children can click on any word to hear it reread. This software can be easily accessed and can be very useful to both parents and teachers. Arthur's Reading Race can be directly accessed through the following link: http://www.alleducationalsoftware.com/xs33426.html.
